Pakistani Restaurant in Copenhagen

Indian-Pakistani dishes at Zahida in Copenhagen – curry in a copper pan with fresh chilli and coriander, tiger prawns in coconut sauce, pumpkin and chickpea saag, yellow rice and chutneys

Zahida is a modern Indian-Pakistani restaurant in the centre of Copenhagen. It started in 2017 as a 20 m² food stand, where two brothers cooked the food they grew up with. The restaurant is named after our mother, Zahida, whose cooking still shapes the menu.

Pakistani home cooking, refined

We did not set out to copy tradition. We take the everyday dishes we grew up with – pakoras, daals, grilled meats – and present them with a Nordic eye: clean presentation and seasonal produce.

How to eat here

  • Tasting Menu – 9 servings over 4 courses, shared by the whole table

  • À la carte – starters, mains and sides, including our signature Murgh Makhani

  • Vegetarian and vegan – a full meat-free version of the tasting menu

All our meat is halal, from halal-verified suppliers. See the full menu.

Indian or Pakistani?

Both. The two cuisines share a lot, and our menu draws on each. Read Indian vs Pakistani food – what's the difference? for more.
