TRADITION MEETS MODERN PAKISTAN

We are 2 brothers from the UK and we've always had a passion for food. Zahida is our mothers name, she inspired us to want to cook.  Growing up and witnessing our mother preparing several dishes at once, managing 5 ill behaved kids and entertaining the neighbours at the same time was enough to make us fall madly in love with the food and the hospitality of Pakistani culture.

 

It was from this young age our dreams of opening our own restaurant began. We always promised her that we would open our own place and name it after her too.

We serve modern Pakistani food, meaning we use all the original spices, flavours and recipes taught to us by our mother, but updated with our influences of growing up in modern Britain.  We serve classic curries like the butter chicken and aloo gobi, as well as modern takes, such as grill platters, masala steaks and gunpowder bites all with a Pakistani twist.

We only serve a limited number of dishes but we do every one of them as if we were serving our own family, the way our mother taught us.
