Zahida is Copenhagen's modern Indian-Pakistani restaurant, rooted in authentic Indian roots and family recipes passed down through generations located on Rømersgade near Nørreport Station.

We take traditional recipes refined over decades and bring them to life with modern presentation. Bold Indian flavours meet a composed Nordic approach. Clean plating, seasonal ingredients, fermentation and pickling. The spices stay bold. The expression is contemporary.

In 2020, Chef Sherwin Mariano joined the kitchen, bringing technical precision from W Hotel Doha, St. Regis Abu Dhabi, Six Senses Maldives, and a Michelin-starred Copenhagen restaurant. Together, we shaped a style that is South Asian at heart, refined by Nordic influence.

Who we are

Founded in 2017 by two brothers inspired by their mother's cooking, Zahida grew from a small food stall into one of Copenhagen's most recognised Indian dining destinations. Every dish we serve is rooted in that same family story — where authentic roots meet modern craftsmanship.
