Welcome to Zahida restaurant – modern Indian cuisine / Pakistani food in Copenhagen

We are two brothers originally from the UK. Our journey began with our mother, Zahida, who instilled in us a deep love and appreciation for Pakistani and Indian food. Together.

We grew up watching our mother expertly prepare multiple dishes, manage five unruly children, and entertain guests, all with the grace and hospitality intrinsic to Pakistani and Indian cuisine and culture.

Our shared passion for the culinary arts and our desire to honor our mother's legacy led us to establish our own restaurant. We made a promise to her that we would open a restaurant and name it after her.

    Absolutely the very best Indian food in København. We did the Tasting Menu with 9 servings + the wine menu and it did not disappoint us. Everything was incredibly good, and the wine pairings was spot on. Really recommend this place!

    The best food imaginable - each dish was more delicious than the one before it. The tasting menu was divine, pairing it with drinks elevated it further. What was most wonderful is our family consists of two carnivores, two vegetarians and one vegan - three who prefer alcoholic drinks and two who don't drink at all. By some magic, the tasting menus catered to every need (and ours couldn't be more diverse) - we all had a wonderful evening. To top it off, our server Panda was honestly the best person ever - he guided us through the menu with care, made the evening even more memorable and made all of us feel special. Highly recommend this wonderful place.

    Somethings i really value when dining pout is the environment, and that is just perfect at Zahida. Lights and music perfect adjusted to each section so it would fit the guests. Waiters were lovely and very present and food was delicious. Don't forget to try their amazing cocktails too! Remember to book in advance, we came a tuesday and was completely full.
