Birthday Dinners and Special Celebrations in Copenhagen — Why Zahida Works
A birthday dinner should feel different from an ordinary night out. The food should be memorable, the atmosphere should carry the occasion, and the host shouldn't spend the evening managing logistics. At Zahida, we've built the restaurant around exactly that kind of evening.
A Setting That Fits a Celebration
Zahida's dining room in central Copenhagen is warm, visually striking and designed for evenings that matter. The Indo-Pakistani aesthetic — rich colours, warm lighting, considered detail — gives celebrations a sense of occasion that a plain, functional dining room can't replicate.
We can accommodate up to 55 guests indoors, with an additional 20 seats outdoors during summer. Whether you're celebrating with 8 close friends or 50 colleagues, there's a setup that works.
A Tasting Menu Designed for Shared Evenings
The tasting menu format is ideally suited to celebrations. Rather than everyone disappearing into individual plates, the sharing style of a tasting menu keeps the table together — passing dishes, discovering new flavours, having something to talk about.
Our 9-serving, 3-course tasting menu is 450 DKK per person, with dessert available for an additional 45 DKK. Group menus for celebrations start from 400 DKK per person.
Drinks pairings — wine, cocktail or non-alcoholic — are available at 275–295 DKK per person, making it easy to include a curated drinks experience as part of the celebration.
Halal Celebrations Welcome
All food at Zahida is halal-certified, which means guests who require halal food can celebrate without compromise — and without having to ask. This is simply how we operate.
Every Dietary Need at the Same Table
Birthdays bring together people with different diets. At Zahida, tables can mix the classic, vegetarian and vegan menus freely — so a meat-eater, a vegetarian and a vegan can all have a complete, well-considered meal without one person feeling like they drew the short straw.
Where We Are
Zahida is at Rømersgade 20, 1362 København K — next to Torvehallerne, steps from Nørreport Station. Easy to reach from anywhere in Copenhagen.
We're open Tuesday–Thursday 17:30–22:30 and Friday–Saturday 17:30–23:00. The kitchen closes at 21:30, so plan to arrive before then.
